What We Do

One Firm for the Problems That Matter Most

The Law Offices of George L. Fernandez APC represents people at some of the hardest moments of their lives — after an arrest, during a custody dispute, following an accident, or when debt or a housing problem becomes overwhelming. We also help small businesses and individuals resolve contract disputes. Each practice area below has its own page with what we handle, how the process typically works and answers to common questions. Every matter starts the same way: a free consultation where we listen, review your situation and give you an honest view of your options. We serve clients from our Long Beach and Newport Beach offices, in English and Spanish.

FAQ

Questions About Our Practice

What cases do you handle?

We handle criminal defense (including DUI and domestic violence), child custody and family law, restraining orders, personal injury, landlord-tenant and eviction matters, Chapter 7 bankruptcy, and breach of contract and business disputes.

Can you help with more than one legal issue at once?

Often, yes. Legal problems are frequently connected — a domestic violence charge can affect a custody case, or a financial crisis can lead to both an eviction and a bankruptcy question. We look at the full picture and coordinate a strategy.

Do you handle federal cases?

Yes. Attorney Fernandez is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, which covers Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.

Do you offer free consultations?

Yes. The first consultation is free for every practice area. Call us or submit the form on this page to get started.
